STANDING TOGETHER AND PLAYING AN ACTIVE ROLE

A message to our Alumni Community

As you may know, our region was recently struck by a tragic event in Crans-Montana, deeply affecting families and communities. In times like there, solidarity means more than ever.

There are several ways we can help - whether through financial contributions to verified funds, volunteering time and resources, or offering emotional support to those impacted. Ever little bit counts.

Let's come together as a community and show our Glion Spirit to those in need.

Below are a few ways to help

1. In memory of Léo Sanglard, former EHL student

In a show of support for EHL who tragically lost one of their young students, please feel free to donate to the parents' fund, aimed at supporting new hospitality themed projects - close to Leo's heart.

2. Donate your hair for the burn victims

To help the victims who are in need, you can always donate your hair to dedicated hair salons.

3. Offer your legal advice & support to the families

In light of the current situation in Crans-Montana, they are looking for lawyers or legal professionals willing to volunteer their time to provide information, guidance, and support to the individuals and families affected.

4. Donate to the local hospital burn victims fund

The CHUV Foundation supports the CHUV's research, training, and healthcare missions. Patients, their loved ones, the community, and medical and nursing staff are at the heart of our actions.

As such, it supports the Centre romand des brûlés (local Burn Center) and the CHUV's Cell Production Center in their efforts to help patients who were victims of the tragedy in Crans-Montana.

5. Sign the online condolence book

The Swiss Government has setup an online condolence book. Please feel free to take a moment and share your thoughts, however you see fit.

There are lots of way to help and quite a few groups to discuss with. For any further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you for your help, support & thoughts.
