A new café in London, brought to you by one of our very own...

Juliet Fisher, Glion Class of 2000

Juliet’s World End Café was born from a lifetime shaped by hospitality, resilience, and the belief that meaningful places are built through people. Having worked across hospitality, owned and operated a hotel business, and later contributed to the healthcare sector, Juliet’s career has always been guided by service and community. Like many in the global hospitality family, her journey has been influenced by the spirit of institutions such as the Glion Institute of Higher Education, a school founded in Switzerland in 1962 and renowned for shaping leaders in hospitality and luxury industries worldwide.

The idea for the café emerged during a period of profound change. After the family home was lost in a fire during lockdown, Juliet returned to her roots in Chelsea, London, reflecting on years of international travel, learning, and the importance of community connection. Inspired by the collaborative spirit that hospitality education fosters—where relationships, mentorship, and shared creativity fuel opportunity—she began rebuilding through small ventures, including a pop-up art gallery. From those early steps came a larger vision: a welcoming café that would act as both a gathering place and a platform for growth.

Today, Juliet’s World End Café is more than a business. It is an extension of home and a living example of hospitality’s ripple effect—bringing together family, community, and the next generation of talent. With a focus on collaboration, creativity, and mentorship, the café invites alumni, neighbours, and friends from London, Switzerland, and beyond to contribute ideas, partnerships, and inspiration. Just as the global Glion alumni community connects thousands of professionals across more than 150 countries, the café seeks to build its own local network—one conversation, one cup of coffee, and one shared opportunity at a time.
