With the second edition of the Glion Alumni Accelerator well underway and finalists set to be revealed shortly, here's an update on recent progress and an overview of what the program is all about.
The Glion Alumni Accelerator is a competition celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation, designed for pre-revenue start-ups with long-term ambitions, and open to current Glion students and alumni. It offers entrants a hugely valuable financial and learning opportunity to refine their business idea, gain mentorship, and receive feedback from expert jury members before turning their vision into reality.
Aligned with the AAG’s Entrepreneurship Commission, which supports the entrepreneurial endeavors of the Glion Alumni Community, the Accelerator was created with the aim to:
- Foster creativity and entrepreneurship among budding businesses in the hospitality, luxury, travel, and tourism sectors
- Provide networking opportunities with established stakeholders
- Facilitate investment connections between founders and investors
- Strengthen the bond between alumni and the school, celebrating the enduring Glion Spirit
Applications for the second edition have poured in from all around the globe, spanning regions from Canada to South Korea. They cover a diverse range of fields, including tech, luxury, business consulting, and hospitality, with applicants presenting their ambitious business ideas or start-ups.
