AAG General Assembly & Gala Dinner - Cancellation Announcement
First of all we hope that you and your loved ones are well.
The catastrophe faced by the world and our industry in particular is unprecedented. Indeed, this health crisis affects us both personally and professionally.
Our Glionnais friends, have already taken the measure of it and reacted accordingly by announcing the closure of our campuses until further notice and this to protect the greatest number of our students, faculty members, and of course future alumni . We would like to thank them and salute them, because the measures put in place reflect a real strength of adaptability and humanism, faithful to our hospitality values.
This is why, and with full knowledge of the facts, we decided to cancel our events of June 5th and 6th, 2020.
People who have already bought their tickets, and whom I thank for their quick response and motivation, will obviously be reimbursed.
It is of course with great sadness, but the time has come for security and solidarity. We will of course have the opportunity to meet again very soon for joyful events.
As I said, my dear Alumni friends, the time is now for solidarity. Our beautiful industry is particularly affected and many of our friends are affected or at risk with their businesses.
This is why dear Alumni, I invite you to send us special offers for your restaurants, hotels and other tourism companies for the business and leisure segments. We will distribute these offers via the student network and our personal networks to invite individuals and companies to book in your establishments in the second half of 2020 and the first half of 2021. Further details of this initiative will be available soon, and in the meantime if you have any questions please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope that these modest contributions will help you preserve your businesses, as well as your employees, pillar of this beautiful industry.
Dear friends, it is with great sadness and with all the measure that we are witnessing this unprecedented crisis. But rest assured that we will help. The hotel industry is a large and beautiful family forming a whole. A complete industry with passionate and inspiring, solid trades that are sure to rise again.
Dear alumni, the time is for solidarity, altruism and we know that you will do the necessary to deal with this crisis.
In the meantime be assured of our support, our commitment, and of course our friendship.
