Maraj is a thoughtfully curated multi-designer store rooted in the celebration of Indian art forms. Inspired by the richness of India’s textile heritage and the global admiration for handcrafted design, Maraj brings together labels that champion handwoven fabrics, artisanal techniques, and traditional craftsmanship. From clothing and jewellery to accessories and perfumery, each piece at Maraj tells a story of elegance, culture, and conscious design —bridging India’s timeless legacy with a modern, minimal aesthetic.

After having studied BBA in Hospitality Management from Glion and then completing Master’s in International Economics and Political studies from Charles University in Prague, I moved back to my hometown with a vision and dream to promote Indian art forms especially through fashion. While having lived in Europe and experienced the value of handwoven and handmade in the European surroundings, I happen to realise the under value I had for my Indian goods. Indian textile has always been one of our biggest assets where every state has its own ways fashion handwoven and specific jewellery items. And we have also always seen how Indian designs have inspired the international labels be it originally Indian owned Patiala Necklace now with Cartier or now the ever so famous Kohlapuris (slippers) that Prada recently introduced in their recent ramp walk. Yet, our utilisation of these art forms is still under appreciated.

Hence, to promote Indian fashion amongst our own I decided to open a multi-curated designer store that houses different labels from clothes to bags to jewellery to perfumeries. Some of the labels are especially using handwoven fabrics only to fabricate their silhouttes, some designers are walking deeper in villages to precure their fabrics from veteran weavers to perfumes being made by now the 4th generation. India is full of art however just a little undervalued hence, Maraj houses such labels which are minimalistic, yet elegant and special fabrics are chosen carefully, and designs are done thoughtfully.
