They met at 18 on the shores of Lake Leman, Switzerland – two eager young adults ready to take on the world.

Veronica and Louis began as classmates at Glion, connecting over study sessions, looming deadlines, and a shared obsession with all things hospitality. Their friendship soon grew into a partnership during an administrative internship in Cambodia, where they took on the challenge of opening a resort on Koh Rong Sanloem. It was their first real taste of building something from the ground up – designing the restaurant and bar, creating guest experiences, and standardising operations across every department.

In their final two semesters back in Bulle, Veronica and Louis became roommates. Louis immersed himself in Luxury Brand Management, while Veronica specialised in Events and Destination Management. Different paths, yet complementary skills – a combination that would later form the foundation of everything they went on to build together.

Graduation arrived, and life pulled them in different directions.




Veronica joined the pre opening team of Raffles & Fairmont for the iconic Katara Towers during FIFA2022, after a year of immersion in corporate hospitality she returned to India, where she launched miniMAX Hospitality and opened Local Lok, a ‘poshtel’ in Varanasi, which became the blueprint for opening a boutique property - from construction to operations

Louis headed to the Philippines, joining Sofitel Philippine Plaza as an F&B Management Trainee before moving on to become Restaurant Operations Manager at Raffles Makati’s signature restaurant. His next stop was the UAE, where he played a key role in opening Sofitel Ras Al Khaimah’s first French specialty restaurant & executive lounge.

Different paths, yet the same conversations continued. Three trips to India later, Louis found himself captivated by the country’s hospitality scene – fast-paced, opportunity-rich, and deeply story-driven.

It was during one of these conversations that the question arose: “What if we worked together again?” Soon enough, it evolved into: “Let’s do it.”

And with that, mM Collective was born.

Complete white label management for independently held, story led properties. End to end operations, revenue management, marketing & branding studio. Full suite solution, one point of contact business for young hoteliers. Or as we say: your story, our craft. 

What properties? Independent boutique hotels, heritage or new with a soulful story to tell in every detail.


What started as friendship on the banks of Lake Leman is now a partnership building a new wave of boutique hospitality.
